Hello Ian,
why do you use a 2 part negativ?
Silikon is flexibel, deforms if you tease it and so it would get out of the undercut negativ without an seam.
3D printing technic makes it easy to produce hard negativs with undercut.
it is very easy to de-mold with two part mold, as a one part mold there is nothing to hold onto to remove the silicone.
It is easy to clean the silicone in the part line. If I clamp the molds together to cast the silicone I don’t get much material in the part line. The part that is in the photo the molds were just sat together with no clamp to cast.
