My friend and I have for a long time considered the ultimate CAD modelling challenge to be to create a bust of music legend Lionel Richie, as per the ‘Hello’ video. After a few failed attempts, we downloaded a trial of Geomagic freeform plus and a much more acceptable model was easily created. We did send a screen shot and a photo of the reulsting model to Mr Richie via Twitter for his opinion, but for some reason he never replied.
