This arch and dome style design borrows from classic styles of architectural history. Of course, with 3D printing, the key is to find shapes that can minimize, or reduce, the amount of support material required. This design does not require support structure.

This object prints well without support! However, be sure to use light in-fill to provide internal structure for the flat areas. If printing with ABS (ideally Z-ULTRAT), acetone vapour-baking produces a nice smooth result.
